Fine Gael Senator for Wexford, Michael D'Arcy, has said that Government funding to improve the social housing stock in Wexford will improve the lives of many social housing tenants. €200,000 will be allocated to local authorities for adaptations and extensions to social houses to meet the needs of tenants with a disability or to address serious overcrowding. The Government announced on Wednesday 5th June 2013 a major investment of €100 million in the school building /road improvement programme as part of the Government's Investing in Infrastructure and Jobs package. Major N11 upgrade to start in weeks

The Government has signed a contract with a consortium to construct the €282 million project to upgrade the N11 between Arklow and Rathnew to a four lane dual carriageway and remove the bottleneck at Newlands Cross on the N7 Limerick/Cork/Waterford Road in Dublin. Register your septic tank before Feb 1st deadline

Senator Michael D'Arcy has urged septic tank owners in Wexford  to make sure they have registered their systems before the deadline of February 1st, to ensure they will be eligible to apply for a remediation grant if necessary.
